For those of you who haven't heard...I'm 20 weeks pregnant! I'm half way there! We are very excited for baby number 2 to arrive so mark your calenders, August 2 is our due date. Thank goodness my schooling will be finished June 3 and I'll have a couple of months off to enjoy the summer and sunshine while preparing for a new baby.
We visited Victoria last week in order to attend Darrell Law's wedding to Deb. It was a fabulous wedding (although I couldn't drink all the great booze that was offered) and the newlyweds and their wedding party looked wonderful. Nicky and Scott MCed the reception and we enjoyed an opportunity to catch up with old friends from highschool like Sherri Effa, Jeff Green, and Christine.
We all enjoyed the sunshine in Victoria and a respite from all the PG snow and cold. Jasmine loved playing at the park with friends Astrid (Jan and Shawn's second child), Ryan (Liz and Bob Garland's grandson) and Noah and Greyson (Nicky and Scott's sons) and splashing through ocean waves at Esquimalt lagoon with her friend Beth. I couldn't believe how foreign it felt to push Jasmine on a swing after such a long winter!
We even got a trip up to Nanaimo in to visit the "great" grandparents.
